Hi. My name is John, I've been planning great travel for friends and family since I can remember, at least since I was a teenager and planned my first group trip to the Mexican Riviera way back in the 1980s. Even then, as a boy of 18, I wasn't content to just go to the beach like everyone else. Nope, I had us up and down the Yucatan. We saw the great pyramids in Chichén Itzá, traveled the coast to Tulum. Stopped in tiny fishing vilages and took small outboard boats into the jungle rivers. I have been absolutely HOOKED on travel planning ever since . I've planned great trips to Canada, Class trips and family reunions to the mountains of Tennessee. Trips to the east coast and the west coast including a five thousand mile road trip or two. I've taken my children from Canada to South America, family and friends all over the western hemisphere. Planned trips with over a dozen people to Europe, seeing 3 countries in 3 weeks. I've loved to travel in any way or form as long as I can remember. Then, it hit me. In 2017 my wife and I were becoming empty-nesters. On our 25th anniversary we made a wonderful trip to Paris, Rome and Ireland. We instantly fell in love with Ireland! I have been back to the British Isles several times since then, and have loved sharing my stories and photos. It was this year that I had an epiphany when talking to a friend who told me that he and his wife would love to "do what you do" but were afraid they'd get it wrong, go somewhere that wasn't great, get lost, not enjoy driving everywhere on their own in a new country, not to mention the dozens (hundreds if I'm honest) of hours it takes to plan a really great trip. Once that sunk in, I realized that many others feel the same way and have let that stop them from getting out there and seeing those places where so much of our culture's history got started! I decided to put on a tour and asked how many people would like to go with me and was OVERWHELMED with the response!
Over the years there has always been one thing that has made me happy, planning travel for groups of people! I want to bring the joy that we've experienced to those who have been putting it off for one reason or another. We saw many large tour groups and they would only give their people 15-20 minute time limits but John made sure we got to spend quality times at each location.
