Add a night or two at the beginning or end of the trip to stay in Dublin, just ask and I'll be glad to help you with those plans too!  This tour does not include Dublin as it is more of a self-guided city and many of our guests did not completely enjoy the "big city" aspect, but if you do, then we can recommend and help arrange your hotel and activities there. We can even help arrange for a private driver if you'd like to go anywhere special in luxury.  Just be sure to arrange this with us at the beginning.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel day, this one doesn't count as much fun, but I'd rather be on a plane to Ireland than asleep on a work night.

Day 2    We'll arrive in Dublin and be collected at Dublin airport by our Luxury  Coach and driver/guide around 10:30 AM, make arrangements to be at the airport by 10:00 or pre-arrange with us another location. We'll travel from Dublin to  Cashel Town, about 2 hours drive, where we'll stop at J. Feehan's Bar for a top-notch Irish Lunch.  Then we'll explore the Rock Of Cashel!  A 13th Century Monastic Fortress with roots back to the 5th Century when St. Patrick baptized the King of Ireland there. It sits upon a high rock called St. Patrick's rock.   From there we'll go a few miles down the road to magnificent Cahir Castle. This true and mostly original Norman Castle is one of the best preserved in the isles and is home to one of the last functioning portcullis in the world.  The mote is full and beautiful birds swim on the water.  A trip inside reveals a true-to-history decor that will have you saying "mi-lord and mi-lady" the rest of the day!   Then we'll head to Killarney, check in to our 4-star accommodation and then we're free to head out on foot for an evening exploring, eating and shopping one of Ireland's biggest little towns (so much to do and see, eat and drink, look at and buy).  Feel free to do your pub-crawl, shop at the great stores, or anything else that tickles your fancy,  We'll be staying in the city center at a 4-star Killarney  Hotel for two nights, so its a quick and well lit walk back without any worries associated with driving or parking. - Killarney

Day 3  -   We'll take Ireland's most famous drive, the Ring Of Kerry!  After breakfast we'll get a somewhat early start and take a tour around the ROK!  We'll see stone-forts, small villages, high cliffs, beautiful beaches and majestic landscapes!  We'll head back to Killarney by 5.  After dinner we'll meat up for a bus to the fabulous "Celtic Steps" show!  Its the best music, dance and Craic show in Ireland and you'll be stomping your feat and singing along for hours!  This Show is a direct descendant of "River Dance" if you remember that from the 90s and early 2000s and is HIGHLY rated!  It was the best night of our last tour! The bus returns you to town center for a quick walk back to the hotel around 10PM  - Killarney

Day 4  -   We'll have breakfast until 8:30 and then head to the Gap of Dunloe for a Jaunting car ride (horse-drawn 2 wheel carriage) through the beautiful Gap of Dunloe, then Muckross House for some more sites of the Killarney national park, then on to Ballyseede Castle for 2 nights!  -

Day 5 -  After waking to a glorious Irish Breakfast and pinching yourself to see if you're really in a Castle,  we'll head to Dingle for the Day for a glorious tour of the Dingle Peninsula where we'll see a ruined castle on a round bolder-strewn beach,  Beautiful sand beaches,  One of the most beloved towns in Ireland (Dingle), and the unmatched scenery of Sleigh Head drive (look it up, especially the three sisters).  We'll stop at a sheep farm for a sheepdog demonstration and a sheep petting opportunity (along with a real "beehive" hut to explore!. There's also a famous distillery in Dingle so if you'd like to skip some sight-seeing and go on tour just let the tour leader know! We'll eat in or around Dingle for lunch, and in Dingle Town proper for dinner where we'll get in some shopping time before heading back to our Kingly repose at Ballyseede Castle

Day 6 - After we finish our royal breakfast, we'll head North to Galway. We'll have lunch at the super-quaint Adare village, before ending our day in Galway for the next two nights Stopping at the Cliffs of Moher in route to take in one of the most famous cliffs in the world!  . Galway Quay Street and surrounding area is some of the liveliest shopping, dining, pub-crawling and busking (street music), area in Ireland!  You'll love it! Or for a quieter evening take a stroll water-side in the adjoining Salt-Hill area, you'll walk along some beautiful waterfront and enjoy the play between ocean and architecture.  Galway

Day 7 - Aran Islands - We'll go with Aran Islands Ferry Tours to the Aran Islands!  This will be a day to remember with a boat ride to Inis Mór island where you can rent bikes and ride around the island, visit shops and pubs, enjoy the cliff sea views,  visit actual farms, buy a woolen sweater from a local craftsman,  you name it!  As a alternative if you don't want to do this, there are many things to do right from Galway, including museums, shops, cathedrals, beaches, and even horseback riding tours (also highly recommended).  If weather should prevent the boat operation, we will instead take a tour of the Burren, a moon-like surface carved by the glaciers with spectacular views and fascinating ancient monuments, along with a stop in Doolin for shopping and maybe some music.  We'll be back by 6:30 or so  - Galway

Day 8  -  Today we'll take a visit to the spectacular Kylemore Abbey (you have to look this one up!).  It will be one of the architectural and natural beauty highlights of your life!  The sisters in this functioning abbey will delight us with their cooking and gardening skills,  you won't forget this.  this tour will wrap up around 2:30 and we'll head to wild and rugged Donegal!  We'll spend 3 nights in Donegal Town, an impossibly beautiful town with hills, rivers, shops and pubs that you won't be able to get enough of!  Donegal

Day 9 -  Today after breakfast we'll visit several iconic locations in the wild County Donegal including the Slieve League cliffs (among the very highest in Europe!), and some surprises along the way!  Back to Donegal early for relaxation, shopping and craic!  - Donegal

Day 10  - today we'll leave early to allow time for some fascinating stops along the way back to Dublin including some iconic castles (including one from Braveheart!) and ancient archaeological sites including Newgrange, a 5000 year old circular burial site. We'll end in the evening at a modern airport hotel for a quiet and good nights' sleep to prepare us for our homeward journey (optional  - if you opt to extend your tour into Dublin, we'll drop you off at your hotel there  *)

Day 11 - Our last morning. Eat one more Full-Irish breakfast if you can, we''ll be leaving the hotel and on the airport shuttle by 9AM to get home early enough for a full night's rest..   -

Optional -   If you chose to extend your stay, I will help with suggestions on how to spend your day or days in Dublin from Wild Rover Tours to The Wicklow Mountains and Kilkenny or a long list of things to do in Dublin, both tours and free!  - for budgeting purposes, each free day will cost you around $300 plus food/drink and optional tours of around $50 each

* - optional Dublin City center hotel will cost slightly more for the last night of the scheduled tour, plus your nightly costs for however long you decide to stay, be sure to work this out prior to booking as we'll need to book your nights in the Dublin Hotel as part of your package.
